www.spiritoftasmania.com.au
If you go to the above site you can get all the information you will require to get to Tasmania. As a guide My Car, Trailer (under 9m long), Marta and I will cost $1424.00 return.
You can Book on the above site, all allowances and sizes are explained, AND CAMPERVANS ARE CHEAPER (They must not like motel owners eh!
Jeff Jacobsen suggests "For a group, you strip the kart down with steering wheel, Motor, Pods, and wheels off, and borrow some "Kart Box" off a dealer (or make your own) and pack it all in the box, Boxes can then be stacked into the one truck. A High top van is the most economical, with a base cost of approx $70.00 and that divided between 4 or 5 karts makes it very economical, sometimes it is better for you, personally, to Fly across as it can be cheaper" and Jake should know he has done it lots of times!!
LETS GIVE THEM ALL THE SUPPORT WE CAN!!
I AM ON MY WAY!!!!
THE CORRECT DATE;
The date on the origonal Flyer was wrong!!
I contacted Peter Fitz' last night and the 6th 7th and 8th March is the correct dates.
However Peter also said that the track will be available on the 5th for practise.
Sup Regs will be available shortly, in the meantime Peter assures me that we (Vintage Guys) will get a minimum of 3 runs per day, with an extra special run on the Sunday.
I am confident that we will be WELL LOOKED AFTER!!!!
WOW!! What was $2K worth in 1979????
